As much as I’m a portrait photographer that always seems to capture “those” moments, it was a real treat to have the opportunity for a relaxed, life as we know it, in (and out) home lifestyle session. I was literally a “fly on the wall” and hung out on a relaxing Sunday morning while Dad made breakfast and the kids and mom enjoyed the quiet start to their day.
I couldn’t have asked for a better setting to work in. Up the drive from the county road and up on top of a hill sat their brand new forever home on land bordering a river. This is country living!
It was a busy household with plenty of chores for the kids to tackle. Their hobby farm starter collection includes two Peking ducks and three Jersey giant chickens. They’re eagerly awaiting a newcomer to the “funny farm” as Mom called it but I won’t share their surprise. I’m sure Mom will be flooding Facebook with the newsflash and photos in the weeks to follow.
Thanks to this awesome family for welcoming me into your home. I can’t wait for your 16 x 20 storyboards to arrive from the lab 🙂
